Interior Designer Mood Boards: Spring/Summer 2025

Interior Designer Mood boards with wood flooring and spring colour trends

As Spring arrived, we asked three of our talented interior designer clients to create mood boards, pairing our wood flooring with the standout shades and textures of 2025. The result? A series of thoughtfully layered design schemes that show how the right flooring finish can anchor a whole room’s aesthetic.

On-Trend Colour Combinations

This year’s interior palette is all about warmth, grounding tones, and playful confidence with colour. We loved these Spring-inspired schemes, featuring our Espresso and Chocolate Latte oak flooring samples:

Nature Reimagined

Along with calming, pale neutrals, verdant greens, mossy tones, and botanical accents bring the outdoors in. Paired with warm, dark oak finishes, these mood boards feel fresh yet grounded—perfect for creating restorative, nature-inspired spaces.

Earthy Elegance

Rich, grounded hues like Mocha Mousse—Pantone’s Colour of the Year—bring a sophisticated, cocooning warmth when paired with dark, deep-toned oak boards. These luxurious colours speak to a growing desire for comfort in design.

Comfort and Playful Contrast

Bold colour pops—zesty yellows, vibrant blues, fiery reds—inject energy and individuality. When set against characterful wood flooring and grounded by comforting, earthy tones, these accents shine without overpowering.

Muted Romance

Dusty pinks and soft terracotta tones can add gentle, nostalgic warmth to a space. These delicate colours are the perfect complement to our dark wood flooring.
