More Local Tree Planting

7 April 2022

Continuing with our efforts to support local tree planting, some of our team volunteered to lend a hand this week to help with Bristol City Council’s One Tree Per Child project. The volunteer group planted 16 large trees at Brandon Hill, Bristol.

Partnered with the Forest of Avon Trust, the One Tree Per Child project aims to plant a tree for each of Bristol’s primary school students. They have planted 60,000 trees since 2014 and continue to plant over 6,000 trees per year in local schools, parks and open spaces.

Chaunceys takes pride in running an environmentally ethical business, supplying timber flooring from sustainably managed forests and minimising our environmental impact. With our love of trees and shared views on sustainability, we are excited to work alongside the Forest of Avon Trust and its partners, now and for years to come.
