Tumbled Herringbone
Tumbled oak herringbone blocks are a timeless, stylish flooring option with the various laying patterns complementing both classic and contemporary interiors and making a feature of the wood’s grain. These solid oak parquet blocks have a charming aged aesthetic, with subtle distressing on the surface and edges.
We stock our Tumbled Herringbone blocks ready to be finished and laid in either a classic herringbone, brick bond, or box weave pattern. These sizes are also stocked with a square edge for a traditional sand and seal install.
Our Tumbled Herringbone blocks are suitable for installation over underfloor heating (UFH) systems. Whilst we generally advise against solid wood on top of UFH, these blocks are an exception to the rule. As the blocks are small, the expansion and contraction is minimal, and when properly installed in an interlocking pattern they are adequately stable for projects with UFH.
