Engineered Reclaimed Wood Flooring

Ancient Exotic (Hit & Miss)

These engineered flooring planks are crafted from old-growth tropical hardwood, reclaimed from disused railway carriages. Each board is sliced and hit-and-miss planed to reveal the wood’s rich natural colouration, while retaining traces of its working life — bolt holes, indentations, scorch marks from cut bolts, and patches of unplaned original surface.

The result is a warm, industrial character unique to reclaimed material. Boards are regularised and fitted with a tongue-and-groove profile for straightforward installation as flooring.

Reclamation is the only way to source these rare, slow-growing exotic species and be certain of their sustainability credentials.

Resolute

Outside Face | Crafted | Authentic
These engineered boards are made from reclaimed timber rescued from disused railway carriages in France and Belgium. The Resolute collection uses the outside face of the wood, the side exposed to the elements in decades in service, so the boards keep the texture, weathering and marks of their working life. It's flooring that celebrates the longevity of these timber treasures and their industrial heritage, and it suits rustic authentic interiors with an industrial aesthetic that’s particularly well-suited to commercial, hospitality settings. The reclaimed wood forms the top layer of each board, over a base of sustainable birch plywood, which gives the board long-term stability and makes it suitable for underfloor heating. Slicing the timber this way makes the resource go further: more flooring from the same reclaimed material, a second life for historic timber, and less demand for newly harvested wood.
