Sourced from the same French and Belgian railway stock as our rustic Box Car Oak, this version balances history and authenticity with intentional craftsmanship. These carriage boards are sanded to create a smoother surface, softening the ruggedness of the original material while preserving its defining features:
- Weathered grain patterns shaped by decades of use
- Dark knots, cracks, and organic variation
- Original bolt holes plugged with matching reclaimed oak
Boards come pre-bevelled, though minor height and surface variations may require light on-site adjustment, such as orbital sanding for a seamless finish.
