These reclaimed exotic timber boards have been saved from disused railway carriages and repurposed to create engineered wood flooring planks with unique character. The old-growth hardwood boards are sliced and planed to revive the rich natural colouration unique to the inside face of these tropical wood species.
With a warm, stripped-back aesthetic, these exotic planks are regularised and made into engineered wood planks with a tongue and groove profile, making them ideal for use as flooring. Boards crafted from these tropical species provide a traditional look that’s perfect for Georgian and Victorian era properties.
Reclamation is the only way to source these rare, slow-growing exotic species and be certain of their sustainability credentials.

Georgian
Sourced from demolished period houses, industrial buildings, and old railway carriage boards, this reclaimed timber is chosen for its unique characteristics. Each plank carries a story and showcases the old timber's natural colouration.
The Georgian Collection is made from the inside face of the timber, giving a traditional, stripped-back look. These pitch pine, douglas fir, oak and pine floors are all versatile choices for period property renovations, and can complement any interior.
The reclaimed wood forms the top layer of each board, over a base of birch plywood, which gives the board long-term stability and makes it suitable for underfloor heating. Slicing the timber this way makes the resource go further: more flooring from the same reclaimed material, a second life for historic timber, and less demand for newly harvested wood.
