Engineered Reclaimed Wood Flooring

French Carriage Oak

Our French Carriage Oak is engineered from genuine reclaimed railway carriage boards, giving each floor the weathered character and history that only reclaimed timber can offer.

These boards carry the rich, varied tones of the original timbers, refined for use as flooring while retaining that reclaimed depth of colour.

Boards are visually selected for colour and appearance, then engineered for stability — making them suitable for use with underfloor heating. Each board is machined to standardised widths and thicknesses, with tongue-and-groove joints (including end-matched header joints) for a straightforward, precise installation.

Resolute

Outside Face | Crafted | Authentic
These engineered boards are made from reclaimed timber rescued from disused railway carriages in France and Belgium. The Resolute collection uses the outside face of the wood, the side exposed to the elements in decades in service, so the boards keep the texture, weathering and marks of their working life. It's flooring that celebrates the longevity of these timber treasures and their industrial heritage, and it suits rustic authentic interiors with an industrial aesthetic that’s particularly well-suited to commercial, hospitality settings. The reclaimed wood forms the top layer of each board, over a base of sustainable birch plywood, which gives the board long-term stability and makes it suitable for underfloor heating. Slicing the timber this way makes the resource go further: more flooring from the same reclaimed material, a second life for historic timber, and less demand for newly harvested wood.
