engineered walnut flooring at Coleman Street offices

This urban regeneration scheme by Emrys Architects has transformed three historic buildings into a Grade A flexible workspace in the heart of Moorgate, London. We supplied our engineered walnut flooring for key spaces, grounding them with the walnut’s rich, luxurious tones. These floors create a timeless, sophisticated foundation that complements the building’s heritage character.

Emrys Architects specified over 100m² of our 220mm-wide walnut flooring to introduce natural warmth and prestige throughout the interior. Finished in Matt Oil and protected with our commercial-grade DuraLaq® system, the flooring balances refined aesthetics with long-term performance — a vital combination for a high-traffic workspace of this calibre.

This project stands out for its thoughtful materiality, respecting the conservation area’s architectural heritage while establishing a confident, contemporary identity. Part of a £21 million redevelopment, the project delivers 52,000 sq. ft of prime workspace while retaining its striking 19th‑century façade. Emrys Architects crowned the building with new garden terraces and outdoor amenities offering views across the city skyline.
