Reclaimed timber and light engineered wood flooring in Cotswold Barn Library

Verity & Beverley Architects transformed this listed Cotswold stone barn into a beautiful home library, art studio and office space.

The client opted for our light yet indulgent Milky Coffee finish on Bristol Tectonic® oak for the ground floor, installed onto underfloor heating — an excellent choice for this inviting double-height space.

We also supplied reclaimed wood to add to the natural colour palette, creating a place of calm, quiet contemplation on this country estate. Our Victorian Beam Oak was used on the first and second floors, with the planks’ undersides visible, to create beautifully rustic stairs and flooring. And our Warehouse Roof Pine wall cladding adds further texture and deep, varied colours.
