This inviting eco kitchen features our reclaimed Victorian Beam Oak. With authentic aged character, these solid oak planks created the perfect base for the eco-friendly extension of this listed Georgian home, designed by Sustainable Kitchens in Bristol. The planks were finished in clear oil to showcase the natural rustic beauty of the reclaimed oak.

Victorian Beam Oak

Rescued from old structural oak beams and repurposed to create floorboards with the unique characteristics and authenticity found only in reclaimed oak. These old-growth boards are planed to revive the timber’s natural colouration. With a smoother, stripped-back aesthetic, these characterful, sustainably sourced solid oak planks are ideal for use as flooring in Victorian era properties and where a traditional look is required. The boards are surfaced and regularised to load-bearing thickness, with a tongue and groove profile.
