Weathered and scarred from decades of service on Europe’s railways, these solid reclaimed boards have a captivating tale to tell. They are perfect for making a visual impact and creating a charming laid-back atmosphere. We love the creative use of our rustic timber here, and it’s great to see the boards lovingly crafted into small blocks and mixed in with tiles on that eye-catching counter.
These boards were rescued from disused railway carriages in France and Belgium. Reclamation is the only way to source this rare, slow-growing timber and be certain of its sustainability credentials.
