Spicer+Cole at the RWA
We supplied our 260mm-wide extra-long Tectonic® oak planks for Spicer+Cole café in the Royal West of England Academy (RWA). The independent café was renovated as part of the Grade II* listed gallery’s impressive £4.1m restoration project.
They chose the understated indulgence of our Milky Coffee finish for their characterful floor, creating an inviting space for gallery visitors or passers-by to enjoy a break.
With a separate entrance accessible via the newly remodelled forecourt, the café has both indoor and outdoor seating. It serves a range of ethically sourced fresh food and drink throughout the day, including breakfast, light lunches, coffee and cakes.
