Our striking Thermo Baked engineered oak planks were installed throughout this entire Wimbledon townhouse. These boards are darkened by specialised heat treatment to provide a rich colour which goes through the full depth of the oak top layer. This is a great example and showcases their beautiful colour variations in different rooms with varying lighting conditions.
The flooring across the entire ground floor needed to be replaced when around 5 years’ worth of water from a burst mains water pipe turned the ground floor into a swimming pool while the owners were on holiday. Thankfully, this catastrophic flood led the owners, @everyspacetellsastory, to undertake this wonderful refurb of their entire home. These characterful planks work perfectly to provide a warm, comforting base in this project.
