Going Solar: Renewable Energy at Chaunceys

We’re excited to announce that BU Energy Solutions have completed the installation of solar panels on the roof of our Bristol HQ.

Having a solar photovoltaic system installed at our new premises has been near the top of a long to-do list since Chaunceys relocated. The solar panels are an important part of our efforts to minimise our impact on the environment by reducing our carbon emissions.

We now have two 36kw inverters up and running, rated to seven times the amount of energy we generally use, and we’re pleased to see that the system is currently producing more than enough power for all of our energy requirements, with excess energy going back to the grid.
