Cornish Slate Tumbled Herringbone
Cornish Slate has gentle grey and green hues of Cornish stone in the grain, whilst allowing the natural tone of the timber to provide a warm base in any room. It offers colours that evoke the solace and comfort of a slate hearth in front of a smouldering fire.
Herringbone blocks are a timeless yet stylish flooring option. They make a feature of the wood’s grain, and the various laying patterns can complement both classic and contemporary interiors. These solid oak parquet blocks have a charming aged aesthetic, with subtle distressing on the surface and edges.
We stock our Tumbled Herringbone blocks ready to be finished and laid in either a classic herringbone, brick bond, or box weave pattern. These sizes are also available with a square edge and without distressing, for a traditional sand and seal install.
The Cornish Slate finish is part of the Hygge collection and is available in a variety of sheen levels, from Ultra Matt to Gloss. It’s available on Planks, Herringbone, Chevron, or Versailles panels. Our Tumbled Herringbone blocks are suitable for installation over underfloor heating (UFH) systems.
