This bright, beautifully designed home in Kent showcases our incredible Giant Oak planks. Up to 380mm-wide and 5 metres long, these engineered oak planks flow throughout the ground floor of this open-plan family home, linking the living room, dining room and kitchen.
Our production team finished the Giant Oak boards in Matt Oil, for classic natural colour, durability, and easy maintenance. The result: honey-toned oak flooring that provides luxurious warmth and a sense of grandeur for this light-filled, modern space.
The impressive dimensions of these boards mean a reduction in the amount of joints across the floor. They allow the eye to be more easily drawn to the oak’s unique grain patterns and characterful features, and also help create a sense of luxury, with a seamless quality that can make rooms feel more spacious.
“One of the most significant choices was the flooring. We opted for Chaunceys oak floorboards throughout the kitchen and sitting room… Chaunceys do the most amazing wide oak boards (320mm), which we fell in love with, and they give a really warm modern rustic look.”
